The use of optical free-space emissions to provide indoor wireless commu- nications has been studied extensively since the pioneering work of Gfeller and Bapst in 1979 [1]. These studies have been invariably interdisciplinary in- volving such far flung areas such as optics design? indoor propagation studies? electronics design? communications systems design among others. The focus of this text is on the design of communications systems for indoor wireless optical channels. Signalling techniques developed for wired fibre optic net- works are seldom efficient since they do not consider the bandwidth restricted nature of the wireless optical channel.

Sound is simply an airborne version of vibration. The air which carries sound is a mixture of gases. In gases, the molecules contain so much energy that they break free from their neighbors and rush around at high speed. As Figure 1.1(a) shows, the innumerable elastic collisions of these high-speed molecules produce pressure on the walls of any gas container. If left undisturbed in a container at a constant temperature, eventually the pressure throughout would be constant and uniform.

There exist two essentially different approaches to the study of dynamical systems, based on the following distinction: time-continuous nonlinear differential equations ? time-discrete maps One approach starts from time-continuous differential equations and leads to time-discrete maps, which are obtained from them by a suitable discretization of time. This path is pursued, e.g., in the book by Strogatz [Str94]. 1 The other approach starts from the study of time-discrete maps and then gradually builds up to time-continuous differential equations, see, e.g., [Ott93, All97, Dev89, Has03, Rob95]. After a short motivation in terms of nonlinear differential equations, for the rest of this course we shall follow the latter route to dynamical systems theory. This allows a generally more simple way of introducing the important concepts, which can usually be carried over to a more complex and physically realistic context.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a big field, and this is a big book. We have tried to explore the full breadth of the field, which encompasses logic, probability, and continuous mathematics; perception, reasoning, learning, and action; and everything from microelectronic devices to robotic planetary explorers. The book is also big because we go into some depth. The subtitle of this book is “A Modern Approach.” The intended meaning of this rather empty phrase is that we have tried to synthesize what is now known into a common frame- work, rather than trying to explain each subfield of AI in its own historical context. We apologize to those whose subfields are, as a result, less recognizable.

The PW2601 is a charger front-end integrated circuit designed to provide protection to Li-ionbatteries from failures of charging circuitry. The device monitors the input voltage, battery voltageand the charging current to make sure all three parameters are operated in normal range. Thedevice will switch off internal MOSFET to disconnect IN to OUT to protect load when any of inputvoltage, output current exceeds the threshold. The Over temperature protection (OTP) functionmonitors chip temperature to protect the device. The PW2601 also can protect the system’sbattery from being over charged by monitors the battery voltage continuously. The deviceoperates like a linear regulator, maintaining a 5.1V output with input voltages up to the input overvoltage threshold.The PW2601 is available in DFN-2x2-8L package. Freemodbus RTU在stm32上的移植分析最近用到free modbus，需要在stm32上進行移植，以作modbus-RTU之用，現成協議的東西用起來很方便，現成源碼很快就可以為設計者所用，也是當初制定標準的初衷吧。首先下載最新的modbus源碼，所謂技術更新換代的比較快，用就用最新的東西，協議嘛也要下載最新的，下載最新的版本freemodbus-v1.5，下載最新的協議不僅可以防止被人改動導致自己做無用功，保持原生態也可以很好的與制定者進行交流。解壓freemodbus-v1.5，目錄結構很清晰，主要有四個文件件，分別是demo，modbus，tools，doc.其中tools為上位機測試modbus程序，doc為一些說明文件先不討論。有用的是demo以及modbus.打開demo，沒有看到stm32的工程文件，有一個叫BARE的文件夾，是一些不包括任何處理器的部分源代碼，我們就用這個建立工程文件。為了給以后移植modbus-TCP帶來方便，這里直接打開之前測試好的基于ENC28168的LwP的stm32工程，在其中導入各個文件。
