Some algorithms of variable step size LMS adaptive filtering are studied．The VS—LMS algorithm is IMproved．
Another new non-linear function between肛and e(／ t)is established．The theoretic analysis and computer
simulation results show that this algorithm converges more quickly than the origina1．Furthermore，better antinoise
property is exhibited under Low—SNR environment than the original one．

hamsterdb is a database engine written in ANSI C. It supports a B+Tree index structure, uses memory mapped I/O (if available), supports cursors, and can create in-memory databases.

This release comes with many changes and new features. It can manage multiple databases in one file. A new flag (HAM_LOCK_EXCLUSIVE) places an exclusive lock on the file. hamsterdb was ported to Windows CE, and the Solution file for Visual Studio 2005 now supports builds for x64. Several minor bugs were fixed, performance was IMproved, and small API changes occurred. Pre-built libraries for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) are available for download.

EDB (Evan s Debugger) is a QT4 based binary mode debugger with the goal of having usability on par with OllyDbg. It uses a plugin architecture, so adding new features can be done with ease. The current release is for Linux, but future releases will target more platforms.

Changes:
A new disassembly engine. A bug that could cause crashing was fixed. There is a new flags breakdown in the register view, an environment view plugin, and IMproved analysis (including a good speed increase). A bug in QT where disabled events could be triggered has been worked around.
Aiming at the application of passive trackinn based on sensor array, a new passive trackinn usinn sensor array
based on particle filter was proposed. Firstly, the“fake points" could be almost entirely and exactly deleted with the aids of the
sensor array at the expense of an additional sensor. Secondly, considered the fact that the measurements notten from each array
were independent in passive trackinn system, a novel sequential particle filter usinn sensor array with IMproved distribution was proposed. At last, in a simulation study we compared this approach a壇orithm with traditional trackinn methods. The simulation re-sups show that the proposed method can nreatly improve the state estimation precision of sensor array passive trackinn system.

(mode III) earthquake dynamic problem with slip-weakening friction,
on a 1D fault embedded in a 2D homogeneous elastic unbounded medium.
The problem is formulated as a boundary integral equation
and the elastodynamic kernels are analytically derived in
the spectral domain (spatial wavenumber).
The method is explained e.g. by Morrysey and Geubelle (1997),
and has been IMproved and extensively used by Nadia Lapusta,
Alain Cochard, etc.

The program implements three large-margin thresholded ensemble
algorithms for ordinal regression. It includes an IMproved RankBoost
algorithm, the ORBoost-LR algorithm, and the ORBoost-All algorithm.
ET++ is a portable and homogenous object-oriented class library integrating user
interface building blocks, basic data structures, and high level application framework
components. ET++ eases the building of highly interactive applications with consistent
user interfaces following the direct manipulation principle. The ET++ class library is
implemented in C++ and can be used on several operating systems and window system
platforms. Since its initial conception the class library has been continuously
redesigned and IMproved. It started with an architecture which was close to MacApp.
During several iterations a new and unique architecture evolved. A byproduct of the
ET++ project is a set of tools, which were designed to support the exploration of ET++
