Reconstruction- and example-based super-resolution
(SR) methods are promising for restoring a high-resolution
(HR) image from low-resolution (LR) image(s). Under large
magnification, reconstruction-based methods usually fail
to hallucinate visual details while example-based methods
sometimes introduce unexpected details. Given a generic
LR image, to reconstruct a photo-realistic SR image and
to suppress artifacts in the reconstructed SR image, we
introduce a multi-scale dictionary to a novel SR method
that simultaneously integrates local and non-local priors.
The local prior suppresses artifacts by using steering kernel regression to predict the target pixel from a small local
area. The non-local prior enriches visual details by taking
a weighted average of a large neighborhood as an estimate
of the target pixel. Essentially, these two priors are complementary to each other. Experimental results demonstrate
that the Proposed method can produce high quality SR recovery both quantitatively and perceptually.

Optical communication technology has been extensively developed over the
last 50 years, since the Proposed idea by Kao and Hockham [1]. However, only
during the last 15 years have the concepts of communication foundation, that
is, the modulation and demodulation techniques, been applied. This is pos-
sible due to processing signals using real and imaginary components in the
baseband in the digital domain. The baseband signals can be recovered from

This research work aims at eliminating the off-chip RF SAW filters from fre-
quency division duplexed (FDD) receivers. In the first approach, a monolithic passive
RF filter was constructed using on-chip capacitors and bondwire inductors. The bond-
wire characteristics were studied in details and the effect of mutual inductive coupling
between the bondwires on the filter performance was analyzed. Based on that, a bond-
wire configuration was Proposed to improve the frequency response of the filter. The
filter was implemented in 0.18 μm CMOS process for WCDMA applications.

Since the principle of multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) was
simultaneously Proposed by Khaled Fazel et al. and Nathan Yee et al. at the IEEE
International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications
(PIMRC) in the year 1993, multi-carrier spread spectrum (MC-SS) has rapidly become
one of the most wide spread independent research topics on the field of mobile radio
communications. Therefore, the International Workshop on Multi-Carrier Spread
Spectrum (MC-SS) was initiated in the year 1997. Multi-carrier and spread spectrum
systems with their generic air interface and adaptive technologies are considered as
potential candidates to fulfill the requirements of next generation mobile communications

The author’s group has developed various chipless RFID tags and reader architectures
at 2.45, 4–8, 24, and 60 GHz. These results were published extensively in the form of

Since OpenStreetMap (OSM) appeared more than ten years ago, new
collaborative mapping approaches have emerged in different areas and have become
important components of localised information and services based on localisation.
There is now increased awareness of the importance of the space-time attributes of
almost every event and phenomenon. Citizens now have endless possibilities to
quickly geographically locate themselves with an accuracy previously thought
impossible. Based on these societal drivers, we Proposed a number of collaborative
mapping experiments (“mapping parties”) to delegates of a large open-source
geospatial conference and to citizens of the conference’s host city during July 2015.

針對嵌入式產(chǎn)品程序更新問題,提出了一種基于IAP技術(shù)的STM32單片機在線固件升級方案,設(shè)計了STM32單片機最小系統(tǒng)硬件電路和USB轉(zhuǎn)串口通信電路,并給出了Bootloader程序、APP程序、PC上機程序的實現(xiàn)流程.實驗結(jié)果表明,該方案具有簡單實用、穩(wěn)定性高、維護(hù)成本低和設(shè)備使用效率高的特點,適用于嵌入式產(chǎn)品升級.For the problem of updating embedded products program,an online firmware upgrade scheme of STM32 single chip microcomputer based on IAP technology is Proposed.This scheme not only elaborates the principle of IAP technology in detail but also provides the design of the minimum system hardware circuit of STM32 MCU,the design of USB for serial communication circuit,and the implementation flow of Bootloader program,APP program and PC program.The experiment results show that the scheme is simple,practical and highly stable.In addition,it can be used to actual embedded product upgrading,significantly reducing maintenance costs and improving the efficiency of equipment.
