UART I/O and Memory Allocation Example for GNU
The project GNU_IODemo shows how to use memory allocation routines (malloc) and char I/O (printf, scanf) via a serial interface with the GNU toolchain.
The I/O functions are adapted for the Analog Devices ADuC7000 series using the SERIAL.C module.
The example also shows the efficiency of the Keil CA ARM Compiler run-time library which is tuned for single chip systems.

You should end up with a "Geocode" project, as well as Bitmaps and TestData directories.
This sample geocodes single-match zip codes, entered by the user, or a batch-match of a table of zips (and other info) against a point shapefile.
The point data shapefile consists of 41859 point features from 1996 GDT data, in decimal degrees. The table of zips that can be used in the batch match consists of 38 records, entitled "few_zips.dbf".
More specifcs are found at the top of each form and are provided throughout the code.
The Audio File Library provides a uniform programming interface to
standard digital audio file formats.
This library allows the processing of audio data to and from audio
files of many common formats (currently AIFF, AIFF-C, WAVE, NeXT/Sun
.snd/.au, IRCAM, AVR, Amiga IFF/8SVX, and NIST SPHERE). The library
also supports compression (currently G.711 mu-law and A-law and IMA and
MS ADPCM) as well as PCM formats of all flavors (signed and unsigned
integer, single- and double-precision floating point).
This package implements a Kalman filter as described in the
paper "A Statistical Algorithm for Estimating Speed from Single Loop
Volume and Occupancy Measurements" by D. J. Dailey.
SDL Library Documentation. The SDL library is designed to make it easy to write games that run on Linux, *BSD, MacOS, Win32 and BeOS using the various native high-performance media interfaces, (for video, audio, etc) and presenting a single source-code level API to your application. SDL is a fairly low level API, but using it, completely portable applications can be written with a great deal of flexibility.

county, random population coordinates were generated using the complete spatial randomness (CSR) function in S-PLUS. Then, the background information was attached to each individual county based on the county?s distribution for the class of interest. Finally, all counties were merged into a single dataset that describes the whole state

This work investigates the use of very deep pipelines for
implementing circuits in FPGAs, where each pipeline
stage is limited to a single FPGA logic element (LE). The
architecture and VHDL design of a parameterized integer
array multiplier is presented and also an IEEE 754
compliant 32-bit floating-point multiplier. We show how to
write VHDL cells that implement such approach, and how
the array multiplier architecture was adapted. Synthesis
and simulation were performed for Altera Apex20KE
devices, although the VHDL code should be portable to
other devices. For this family, a 16 bit integer multiplier
achieves a frequency of 266MHz, while the floating point
unit reaches 235MHz, performing 235 MFLOPS in an
FPGA. Additional cells are inserted to synchronize data,
what imposes significant area penalties. This and other
considerations to apply the technique in real designs are
also addressed.
unicap provides an uniform access to video capture devices. Currently you can access v4l, v4l2, IIDC 1394 ( DCAM ) cameras and video to firewire converters with a single API. New devices can be added via a plugin system
