This document provides practical, common guidelines for incorporating PCI Express interconnect
layouts onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) ranging from 4-layer desktop baseboard designs to 10-
layer or more server baseboard designs. Guidelines and constraints in this document are intended
for use on both baseboard and add-in card PCB designs. This includes interconnects between PCI
Express devices located on the same baseboard (chip-to-chip routing) and interconnects between
a PCI Express device located “down” on the baseboard and a device located “up” on an add-in
card attached through a connector.
This document is intended to cover all major components of the physical interconnect including
design guidelines for the PCB traces, vias and AC coupling capacitors, as well as add-in card
edge-finger and connector considerations. The intent of the guidelines and examples is to help
ensure that good high-speed signal design practices are used and that the timing/jitter and
loss/attenuation budgets can also be met from end-to-end across the PCI Express interconnect.
However, while general physical guidelines and suggestions are given, they may not necessarily
guarantee adequate performance of the interconnect for all layouts and implementations.
Therefore, designers Should consider modeling and simulation of the interconnect in order to
ensure compliance to all applicable specifications.

general topology and interconnect guidelines. The second section concentrates on physical layout
constraints where bulleted items at the beginning of a topic highlight important constraints, while
the narrative that follows offers additional insight.

Lachesis an IRCRPG combat engine written in a combination of C and C++. The combat engine is being written for a specific RPG, but most of the project Should be useful to IRCRPGs in general. It includes a native interface to the IRC protocol to allow it to act as an IRC bot, for such uses as dice rolling and acting as a remote-controlled client (RPG NPC perhaps).
Addressbook using double-linked list. This example shows the use of a double-linked list by implementing an addressbook for the console. It has features like inserting, searching(linear), sorting(bubble sort), deleting and load/save to a file. I wrote this during my study of Applied Computer Science so it s intended mainly for students who want to know about some advanced programming techniques in C. The Code was compiled with MSVC++ 6.0 but it Should compile with any ANSI-compliant compiler.
The code assumes a two-dimensional computational domain with TMz polarization (i.e., non-zero field Ez, Hx, and Hy). The program is currently written so that the incident field always strikes the lower-left corner of the total-field region first. (If you want a different corner, that Should be a fairly simple tweak to the code, but for now you ll have to make that tweak yourself.) I have attempted to provide copious comments in the code and hope that a knowledgeable C programmer can quickly map the approach as described in the paper to what is in the program.
The goal with this project was to make it possible for almost any mobile-phone to use ICQ and be able to communicate with other users!
One other goal with this project was to lower the GPRS-traffic in the phone and make the ICQ-ing cheaper.
A third goal was to make this service as easy to log-in to as possible. Anyone tried to fill a log-in screen with a WAP-browser Should know what I mean.
