This reference design (RD) features a fullyassembled and tested surface-mount printed circuitboard (PCB). The RD board utilizes the MAX48851:2 or 2:1 multiplexer and other ICs to implement acomplete video graphics array (VGA) 8:1multiplexer.VGA input/output connections are provided to easilyinterface the MAX4885 RD board with VGAcompatibledevices. The RD board gives the optionto use a single 5V DC power supply (V+), or this RDboard can be powered from any one of the eight VGA sources.
生活中許多目標的高度和水平距離需要進行測量。目前主要的測量方法，仍以傳統的皮尺丈量為主，測量效率不高，有時還很不方便，沒有技術成熟的數字式測高測距產品。以基本的數學方法為理論依據，利用遙控小車做為載體，采用角度傳感器測量角度、霍爾傳感器測量水平距離等，通過單片機LM3S615進行數據計算，實現了對待測目標物體的高度、水平距離等數據的快速、精確和數字式的測量，高度測量精度可達99.06%，水平測量精度則可達98.06%。
Abstract: In our lives， the height and horizontal distance of some goals are needed to be measured. Because the currently used methods are still traditional tape-based measuring methods， and the measuring efficiency is low and inconvenient so some kinds of digital and portable measuring methods or instruments are needed. Based on the basic math theory， this paper designed and manufactured a portable， digital and remote controlled measuring mobile small vehicle， which assembled with angle measuring sensor for angle measurement and Hall sensor for horizontal distance measuring. MCU LM3S615 calculated the height and horizontal distance data gotten from these sensors. The measuring process is simple， the measuring results are more accurate and the measuring efficiency is higher than traditional measure instruments. The accuracy of height and distance measurement can reach 99.06% and 98.06%.

A power semiconductor module is basically a power circuit of different
materials assembled together using hybrid technology, such as semiconduc-
tor chip attachment, wire bonding, encapsulation, etc. The materials
involved cover a wide range from insulators, conductors, and semiconduc-
tors to organics and inorganics. Since these materials all behave differently
under various environmental, electrical, and thermal stresses, proper selec-
tion of these materials and the assembly processes are critical. In-depth

In this book for the optimisation of assembly conveyor lines we are dealing with series part production
featured by a medium complexity degree and a medium number of individual components and assembly
technique alternatives. Modern production techniques for medium to large series products or mass
production usually involve assembly conveyor lines. They still use hand labour more or less automated.
The aim is to have monotonous and similar in type operations or such causing fatigue, stress and
production traumas, gradually replaced by automated assembly cycles, means and techniques. This
usually widely involves industrial robots and handlers. Higher productivity, lower cost and higher quality
of assembled products are usually required.
It all started rather innocuously. I walked into Dr GT Murthy’s office one fine day, andchanged my life. “Doc” was then the General Manager, Central R&D, of a very largeelectrical company headquartered in Bombay. In his new state-of-the-art electronics center,he had hand-picked some of India’s best engineers (over a hundred already) ever assembledunder one roof. Luckily, he too was originally a Physicist, and that certainly helped me gainsome empathy. Nowadays he is in retirement, but I will always remember him as athoroughly fair, honest and facts-oriented person, who led by example. There were severalthings I absorbed from him that are very much part of my basic engineering persona today.You can certainly look upon this book as an extension of what Doc started many years agoin India … because that’s what it really is! I certainly wouldn’t be here today if I hadn’t metDoc.
