As I write this foreword, I am collaborating with four leading user interface
(UI) component vendors on a presentation for the 2004 JavaOneSM conference.
In our presentation, the vendors will show how they leverage JavaServerTM
Faces technology in their products. While developing the presentation, I am
learning some things about the work we’ve been doing on JavaServer Faces for
the past three years. The vendors have their own set of concerns unique to
adapting their product for JavaServer Faces, but they all voice one opinion
loud and clear: they are very relieved to finally have a standard for web-based
user interfaces.
Text mining tries to solve the crisis of information overload by combining techniques from data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, and knowledge management. In addition to providing an in-depth examination of core text mining and link detection algorithms and operations, this book examines advanced pre-processing techniques, knowledge representation considerations, and visualization approaches. finally, it explores current real-world, mission-critical applications of text mining and link detection in such varied fields as M&A business intelligence, genomics research and counter-terrorism activities.
The program uses fminsearch to obtain the transfer function of a tank’s height. This tank is then controlled using a real PID controller. Controller’s tuning (determination of optimum controller’s parameters: gain and time constants) is achieved using the genetic algorithm toolbox. finally, result are plotted using both matlab commands as well as simulink.
this is a document about radio frequency identification RFID, this was a project ,i have done last year ,actually this technology is a very inpotrtant one due to its relation with newest technologies , like GPS , or the miniturization of integrated circuits ,and that is described in chapter 3 . chapter 1 gives an introduction of the technology RFID , chapter 2 gives a discussion of a library using RFID , and chapter 3 is about the future of RFID , and finally the conclusion .
The target of the assignment is to familiarize the student with MIMO channel modeling.
The work is based on L. Schumacher’s MIMO channel model implementation, with
added capacity analysis. First the channel model implementation is introduced, and
thereafter analysis on MIMO channel with different parameters is done. finally a short
report on the results is written.
SiftGPU is an implementation of SIFT [1] for GPU. SiftGPU processes pixels parallely to build Gaussian pyramids and detect DoG Keypoints. Based on GPU list generation, SiftGPU then uses a GPU/CPU mixed method to efficiently build compact keypoint lists. finally keypoints are processed parallely to get their orientations and descriptors.
Improved guaranteed cost control and quantum adaptive control are developed in this study for a quadrotor helicopter with state
delay and actuator faults. Improved guaranteed cost control is designed to eliminate disturbance effects and guarantee the robust stability of a
quadrotor helicopter with state delay. The inapplicability of guaranteed cost control to the quadrotor linear model is addressed by combining
guaranteed cost control with a model reference linear quadratic regulator. In the event of actuator faults, quadrotor tracking performance is
maintained through quantum adaptive control. finally, the availability of the proposed scheme is verified through numerical simulation
This chapter introduces concepts on cooperating objects and wireless sensor net-
works that will be used in the following chapters. It also introduces the Embedded
WiSeNts Coordination Action. finally, it presents an overview of the book and the
relations between the following chapters.
