Abstract: This application note describes how to improve the speed of modular exponentiation by more than 50% whenusing MAXQ® microcontrollers that have a modular arithmetic accelerator (MAA).
Abstract:
A central control system applied to an ATV vehicle weapons is designed. The system design is based on TMS320F2812 DSP as the core, uses modular design for its hardware parts. The central control system can complete the motion control of the level of weapons and equipment, rotation direction, to achieve a state of static or moving objects on the target ranging, auto-targeting and according to the established target and the projectile and the launch of the security performance testing and other functions. Through the development of appropriate software and to carry out system testing to verify the stability of this design and operation.
In today’s world of modular networking and telecommunications design, it is becomingincreasingly difficult to keep alignment with the many different and often changing interfaces, both inter-board and intra-board. Each manufacturer has their own spin on the way in whichdevices are connected. To satisfy the needs of our customers, we must be able to support alltheir interface requirements. For us to be able to make products for many customers, we mustadopt a modular approach to the design. This modularity is the one issue that drives the majorproblem of shifting our bits from one modular interface to another.
Decoding most of the infrared signals can be easily
handled by PIC16C5X microcontrollers. This application
note describes how this decoding may be done.
The only mandatory hardware for decoding IR signals
is an infrared receiver. The use of two types is
described here. Both are modular types used often by
the consumer electronics industry. The first type
responds to infrared signals modulated at about
40 kHz. The second responds to non-modulated infrared
pulses and has a restricted range. The hardware
costs of each approach will be less than two dollars.

The Funambol J2ME Mail Client aims to be a light, easy to use, free email
client for J2ME devices.
The first release comes with a simple but effective UI, and a storage limited
to the internal RMS only. This makes the application compatible with most of
the phones around (minimum requirements are: MIDP2.0, CLDC 1.0, 512k of
Storage).
The mail synchronization using SyncML 1.2 over HTTP, thus removing
any problem related to the access to IMAP or POP ports.
The mail client synchonizes its address book with the one on the server,
Its design is modular and can be extended in future with other mail
protocols, a more sophisticated UI and access to the phone s AddressBook or
filesystem for the devices allowing this.
See the javadoc for more information on the structure of the library.
EKF-SLAM Simulator
This version of the simulator uses global variables for
all large objects, such as the state covariance matrix.
While bad programming practice, it is a necessary evil
for MatLab efficiency, as MatLab has no facility to avoid
gratuitous memory allocation and copying when passing
(and modifying) variables between functions. With this
concession, effort has been made to keep the code as
clean and modular as possible.
Pegasus is an open-source implementationof the DMTF CIM and WBEM standards. It is designed to be portable and highly modular. It is coded in C++ so that it effectively translates the object concepts of the CIM objects into a programming model but still retains the speed and efficiency of a compiled language. Pegasus is designed to be inherently portable and builds and runs today on most versionsof UNIX(R), Linux, OpenVMS, and Microsoft Windows.
