This is is a bridge IP core to interface the Tensilica PIF bus protocol with the OpenCores WishBone. It currently supports single-Cycle as well as burst transfer operations. The core has been tested in a master-PIF slave-WB configuration.

The TAS3204 is a highly-integrated audio system-on-chip (SOC) consisting of a fully-programmable, 48-bit digital audio processor, a 3:1 stereo analog input MUX, four ADCs, four DACs, and other analog functionality. The TAS3204 is programmable with the graphical PurePath Studio? suite of DSP code development software. PurePath Studio is a highly intuitive, drag-and-drop environment that minimizes software development effort while allowing the end user to utilize the power and flexibility of the TAS3204’s digital audio processing core.
TAS3204 processing capability includes speaker equalization and crossover, volume/bass/treble control, signal mixing/MUXing/splitting, delay compensation, dynamic range compression, and many other basic audio functions. Audio functions such as matrix decoding, stereo widening, surround sound virtualization and psychoacoustic bass boost are also available with either third-party or TI royalty-free algorithms.
The TAS3204 contains a custom-designed, fully-programmable 135-MHz, 48-bit digital audio processor. A 76-bit accumulator ensures that the high precision necessary for quality digital audio is maintained during arithmetic operations.
Four differential 102 dB DNR ADCs and four differential 105 dB DNR DACs ensure that high quality audio is maintained through the whole signal chain as well as increasing robustness against noise sources such as TDMA interference.

The AP2406 is a 1.5Mhz constant frequency, slope compensated current mode PWM step-down converter. The device integrates a main switch and a synchronous rectifier for high efficiency without an external Schottky diode. It is ideal for powering portable equipment that runs from a single cell lithium-Ion (Li+) battery. The AP2406 can supply 600mA of load current from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage. The output voltage can be regulated as low as 0.6V. The AP2406 can also run at 100% duty Cycle for low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable system. Idle mode operation at light loads provides very low output ripple voltage for noise sensitive applications.
The AP2406 is offered in a low profile (1mm) 5-pin, thin SOT package, and is available in an adjustable version and fixed output voltage of 1.2V, 1.5V and 1.8V
Lithium–sulfur batteries are a promising energy-storage technology due to their relatively low cost and high theoretical energy density. However, one of their major technical problems is the shuttling of soluble polysulfides between electrodes, resulting in rapid capacity fading. Here, we present a metal–organic framework (MOF)-based battery separator to mitigate the shuttling problem. We show that the MOF-based separator acts as an ionic sieve in lithium–sulfur batteries, which selectively sieves Li+ ions while e ciently suppressing undesired polysulfides migrating to the anode side. When a sulfur-containing mesoporous carbon material (approximately 70 wt% sulfur content) is used as a cathode composite without elaborate synthesis or surface modification, a lithium–sulfur battery with a MOF-based separator exhibits a low capacity decay rate (0.019% per Cycle over 1,500 Cycles). Moreover, there is almost no capacity fading after the initial 100 Cycles. Our approach demonstrates the potential for MOF-based materials as separators for energy-storage applications.
Lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries with high energy density and long Cycle life are considered to be one of the most promising next-generation energy-storage systems beyond routine lithium-ion batteries. Various approaches have been proposed to break down technical barriers in Li–S battery systems. The use
of nanostructured metal oxides and sulfides for high sulfur utilization and long life span of Li–S batteries is reviewed here. The relationships between the intrinsic properties of metal oxide/sulfide hosts and electrochemical performances of Li–S batteries are discussed. Nanostructured metal oxides/ sulfides hosts used in solid sulfur cathodes, separators/interlayers, lithium- metal-anode protection, and lithium polysulfides batteries are discussed respectively. Prospects for the future developments of Li–S batteries with nanostructured metal oxides/sulfides are also discussed.
The idea for this book was born during one of my project-related trips to the beautiful city
of Hangzhou in China, where in the role of Chief Architect I had to guide a team of very
young, very smart and extremely dedicated software developers and verification engineers.
Soon it became clear that as eager as the team was to jump into the coding, it did not have
any experience in system architecture and design and if I did not want to spend all my time in
constant travel between San Francisco and Hangzhou, the only option was to groom a number
of local junior architects. Logically, one of the first questions being asked by these carefully
selected future architects was whether I could recommend a book or other learning material
that could speed up the learning Cycle. I could not. Of course, there were many books on
various related topics, but many of them were too old and most of the updated information
was either somewhere on the Internet dispersed between many sites and online magazines, or
buried in my brain along with many years of experience of system architecture.
The author of this textbook intends to consider all stages of the life Cycle of the
energy resources: extraction of mineral energy resources and mastering for power
engineering renewable energy, transportation of mineral energy raw materials to the
place of consumption, the conversion of primary energy sources into electrical
and/or thermal energy, transportation and distribution among the customers, and
energy storage (if necessary).
The PW4055 is a complete constant-current /constant-voltage linear charger for single cell lithiumion batteries.Its ThinSOT package and low external component count make the PW4055 ideallysuited for portable applications.Furthermore, the PW4055 is specifically designed to work within USBpower specifications.The PW4055 No external sense resistor is needed, and no blocking diode is required due to theinternal MOSFET architecture.Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit the dietemperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixedat 4.2V, and the charge current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. The PW4055automatically terminates the charge Cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10th the programmedvalue after the final float voltage is reached. When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) isremoved, the PW4055 automatically enters a low current state, dropping the battery drain currentto less than 2μA. The PW4055 can be put into shutdown mode, reducing the supply current to 25μA.The BAT pin has a 7KV ESD(HBM) capability.
