C++ Standard Library provides a set of common classes and interfaces that greatly extend the core C++ language. The library, however, is not self-explanatory. To make full use of its components-and to benefit from their power-you need a resource that does far more than list the classes and their functions.
The C++ Standard Library not only provides comprehensive documentation of each library component, it also offers clearly written explanations of complex concepts, Describes the practical programming details needed for effective use, and gives example after example of working code.
Beginning with an overview of SQL Server 2000, this book discusses online transaction processing (OLTP) and online analytical processing (OLAP), features a tour of different SQL Server releases, and offers a guide to installation. The author Describes and demonstrates the changes since SQL Server 7.0, thoroughly exploring SQL Server 2000 s capacity as a Web-enabled database server. Readers are then immersed in advanced database administration topics such as performance optimization and debugging techniques.
The purpose of this lab is to introduce the concept of FSMs with a datapath, and to
study the usage of more complex test benches. Also, we enforce a rudimentary design
methodology by assuming that the students are part of a bigger project, and have no
knowledge of VHDL-implementation of the datapath (made by a hypothetical other
group) other than its predefined Entity Interface until they come to the lab.
The rest of this document is structured as follows: Section 2 Describes some prelimi-
nary reading and exercises that should be done before the lab. Section 3 details the
design tasks that should be carried out to pass this lab.
There are many different (and often confusing) terms associated
with clock-based devices. This application note attempts
to clarify these terms, and hence serves as a comprehensive
reference on clock terminology. This application note can be
divided into two sections. The first section Describes and distinguishes
between various clock sources available today.
The second section defines and distinguishes between various
parameters used to describe clocks. This section also provides methods of measuring some of these parameters.
The development of a data acquisition card based on USB bus is introduced in this article. It first Describes the configuration and principle of this card in the part of hardware design, and then the application program and device driver in the part of software design.Data acquisition program in firmware is also discussed. Finally, this data acquisition card is tested and evaluated in a program developed by Lab Windows CVI,which shows that this car is stable and reliable
The Joint Video Team (JVT) of ISO/IEC MPEG and ITU-T VCEG are finalising a new standard for
the coding (compression) of natural video images. The new standard [1] will be known as H.264 and
also MPEG-4 Part 10, “Advanced Video Coding”. This document Describes the methods of filtering
reconstructed blocks in an H.264 CODEC. Note that the H.264 draft standard is not yet finalised and
so readers are encouraged to refer to the latest version of the standard.

quantization processes defined, or implied, by the standard.

the coding (compression) of natural video images. The new standard [1,2] will be known as H.264 and
also MPEG-4 Part 10, “Advanced Video Coding”. This document Describes the methods of predicting
intra-coded macroblocks in an H.264 CODEC.
UC Library Extensions
UnderC comes with a pocket implementation of the standard C++ libraries, which is a reasonably faithful subset. This documentation Describes those UnderC functions and classes which are not part of the C++ standard.
UC Library
Builtin functions:
Most of these are standard C functions, but there are a few unique to the UnderC system which give you runtime access to the compiler. You may evaluate expressions, execute commands, compile code, etc.
* Expands the text in expr using the UnderC preprocessor, putting the result
into buff.
void uc_macro_subst(const char* expr, char* buff, int buffsize)
* Executes a UC #-command, like #l or #help.
uc_cmd() expects the name of the command, _without_ the hash,
e.g. uc_cmd("l fred.cpp") or uc_cmd("help").
void uc_cmd(const char* cmd)
* Evaluates any C++ expression or statement will return non-zero if
unsuccessful.
In this paper, we consider the problem of filtering in relational
hidden Markov models. We present a compact representation for
such models and an associated logical particle filtering algorithm. Each
particle contains a logical formula that Describes a set of states. The
algorithm updates the formulae as new observations are received. Since
a single particle tracks many states, this filter can be more accurate
than a traditional particle filter in high dimensional state spaces, as we
demonstrate in experiments.
