Realizing an MP3 player with the LPC2148, using libmad and
EFSL This Application Note describes how to integrate the libmad MPEG 1/2 layer 3 library and
the Embedded File System Library EFSL in a LPC2148 device to realize MP3 player.
The Keil MCB2140 board is used to test the application and the Rowley CrossStudio for
ARM has been chosen as a reference tool-chain.
The P89LPC938 is a single-chip microcontroller, available in low cost packages, based on
a high performance processor architecture that executes instructions in two to four clocks,
six times the rate of standard 80C51 devices. Many system-level functions have been
incorporated into the P89LPC938 in order to reduce component count, board space, and
system cost.
Learn how to build a custom Linux® distribution to use in an embedded environment,
in this case to drive a Technologic Systems TS-7800 single-board computer. In this
tutorial, you learn about cross-compiling, the boot loader, file systems, the root file
system, disk images, and the boot process, all with respect to the decisions you
make as you re building the system and creating the distribution.
DESCRIPTION
===========
This example project shows how to use the IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM
to develop code for the Atmel AT91SAM9261 evaluation boards.
It shows basic use of parallel I/O, timer and the interrupt controller.
It starts by showing different patterns on the LED s separated by half second.
COMPATIBILITY
=============
The project is compatible with the AT91SAM9261-EK board.
This paper presents a visual based localization
mechanism for a legged robot. Our proposal, fundamented
on a probabilistic approach, uses a precompiled topological
map where natural landmarks like doors or ceiling lights
are recognized by the robot using its on-board camera.
Experiments have been conducted using the AIBO Sony
robotic dog showing that it is able to deal with noisy sensors
like vision and to approximate world models representing
indoor ofce environments. The two major contributions of
this work are the use of this technique in legged robots, and
the use of an active camera as the main sensor

The FM24C256/C256L/C256LZ devices are 256 Kbits CMOS
nonvolatile electrically erasable memory. These devices offer the
designer different low voltage and low power options. They
conform to all requirements in the Extended IIC 2-wire protocol.
Furthermore, they are designed to minimize device pin count and
simplify PC board layout requirements.
CAN1.c and CAN2.c are a simple example of configuring a CAN network to
transmit and receive data on a CAN network, and how to move information to
and from CAN RAM message objects. Each C8051F040-TB CAN node is configured
to send a message when it s P3.7 button is depressed/released, with a 0x11
to indicate the button is pushed, and 0x00 when released. Each node also has
a message object configured to receive messages. The C8051 tests the
received data and will turn on/off the target board s LED. When one target
is loaded with CAN2.c and the other is loaded with CAN1.c, one target
board s push-button will control the other target board s LED, establishing
a simple control link via the CAN bus and can be observed directly on the
target boards.
