Once relegated to the hinterlands of low cost indicatorlights, the LED is again in the spotlight of the lightingworld. LED lighting is now ubiquitous, from car headlightsto USB-powered lava lamps. Car headlights exemplifyapplications that capitalize on the LED’s clear advantages—unwavering high quality light output, tough-assteelrobustness, inherent high effi ciency—while a USBlava lamp exemplifi es applications where only LEDs work.Despite these clear advantages, their requirement forregulated voltage and current make LED driver circuitsmore complex than the venerable light bulb, but some newdevices are closing the gap. For instance, the LTM®8040μModule™ LED driver integrates all the driver circuitryinto a single package, allowing designers to refocus theirtime and effort on the details of lighting design criticalto a product’s success.
High voltage buck DC/DC controllers such as the LTC3890(dual output) and LTC3891 (single output) are popular inautomotive applications due to their extremely wide 4V to60V input voltage range, eliminating the need for a snubberand voltage suppression circuitry. These controllersare also well suited for 48V telecom applications whereno galvanic isolation is required.
Telecommunication, satellite links and set-top boxes allrequire tuning a high frequency oscillator. The actualtuning element is a varactor diode, a 2-terminal device thatchanges capacitance as a function of reverse bias voltage.1 The oscillator is part of a frequency synthesizingloop, as detailed in Figure 1. A phase locked loop (PLL)compares a divided down representation of the oscillatorwith a frequency reference. The PLL’s output is levelshifted to provide the high voltage necessary to bias thevaractor, which closes a feedback loop by voltage tuningthe oscillator. This loop forces the voltage controlledoscillator (VCO) to operate at a frequency determined bythe frequency reference and the divider’s division ratio.

Abstract:
To solve the problem of DC-AC inverter， and to utilize solar energy more efficiently， the design of maximum power point tracking inverter based on IR2101 was achieved with a high-performance， which can make the system output power maximum. SPMC75F2413A was adopted as main controller. IR2101 is a high voltage， high speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver. It adopted highly integrated voltage level transforming technology， and an external bootstrap capacitor was used， which could drive MOS tube efficiently and stably. Many functions are achieved in the system， such as DC/AC conversion， maximun power point tracking， etc. The actual test result shows that the inverter system has characteristics of strong tracking ability， high stability and reacting quickly. The design can not only be used in ordinary power inverter system， but also be used in photovoltaic power inverter system. The design has certain marketing prospects
為了解決磁放大器性能測(cè)試過(guò)程中，需要對(duì)其供給不同數(shù)值恒定電流的問(wèn)題，設(shè)計(jì)了一種基于DAC7512和單片機(jī)的數(shù)控恒流源系統(tǒng)。該系統(tǒng)采用AT89C51作為主控器件，將計(jì)算機(jī)發(fā)送的電流控制字命令轉(zhuǎn)換為D/A轉(zhuǎn)換器控制字，通過(guò)模擬SPI通信接口，寫D/A控制字到DAC7512，從而控制其輸出相應(yīng)數(shù)字電壓值，經(jīng)差動(dòng)縮放電路、電壓/電路變換電路和功率驅(qū)動(dòng)電路，最后輸出恒定電流。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明，恒流源輸出電流調(diào)節(jié)范圍為-45~+45 mA、精度為±0.1 mA，分辨率達(dá)0.024 4 mA，具有應(yīng)用靈活，外圍電路簡(jiǎn)單，可靠性高的特點(diǎn)。該數(shù)控直流恒流源也可為相關(guān)產(chǎn)品的測(cè)試系統(tǒng)研發(fā)提供參考。
Abstract:
In order to solve the need to supply different values constant current for the magnetic amplifier in testing process， numerical control constant current source system was designed based on DAC7512 chip and microcontroller technology. The system used the AT89C51 as the main chip， which can convert the current control word from computer into to D/A control words. And the system wrote D/A control word into the DAC7512 chip to control the output voltage value by the SPI communication interface， which can output corresponding constant current figures by scaling circuit， the V/I converter and power drive circuit. Experimental results show that the current source output current adjustment range is -45~+45mA， accuracy is ± 0.1mA， and resolution ratio is 0.024 4mA

The CAT823, CAT824, and CAT825 provide basic reset and monitoring functions for the electronic systems. Each device monitors the system voltage and maintains a reset output until that voltage reaches the device’s specified trip value and then maintains the reset output active condition until the device’s internal timer, after a minimum timer of 140ms; toallow the systems power supply to stabilize.

The ISO7220 and ISO7221 are dual-channel digital isolators. To facilitate PCB layout, the channels are orientedin the same direction in the ISO7220 and in opposite directions in the ISO7221. These devices have a logic inputand output buffer separated by TI’s silicon-dioxide (SiO2) isolation barrier, providing galvanic isolation of up to4000 V. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, these devices block high voltage, isolate grounds, andprevent noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with ordamaging sensitive circuitry.
The Philips family of Multiplexers and Switches consists of bi-directional translating switches controlled via the I2C or SMBus to fan out an upstream SCL/SDA pair to 2, 4 or 8 downstream channels of SCx/SDx pairs. The Multiplexers allow only one downstream channel to be selected at a time, while the Switches allow any individual downstream channel or combination of downstream channels to be selected, depending on the content of the programmable control register. Once one or several channels have been selected, the device acts as a wire, allowing the master on the upstream channel to send commands to devices on all the active downstream channels, and devices on the active downstream channels to communicate with each other and the master. External pull-up resistors are used to pull each individual channel up to the desired voltage level. Combined interrupt output and hardware reset input are device options that are featured.
