Nios® II embedded processor cores can contain instruction and data caches. This
chapter discusses cache-related issues that you need to consider to guarantee that
your program executes correctly on the Nios II processor. Fortunately, most software
based on the Nios II hardware abstraction layer (HAL) works correctly without any
special accommodations for caches. However, some software must manage the cache
directly. For code that needs direct control over the cache, the Nios II architecture
provides facilities to perform the following actions:

Nios II定制指令用戶指南：With the Altera Nios II embedded processor, you as the system designer can accelerate time-critical software algorithms by adding custom instructions to the Nios II processor instruction set. Using custom
instructions, you can reduce a complex sequence of standard instructions to a single instruction implemented in hardware. You can use this feature for a variety of applications, for example, to optimize software inner
loops for digital signal processing (DSP), packet header processing, and computation-intensive applications. The Nios II configuration wizard,part of the Quartus® II software’s SOPC Builder, provides a graphical user interface (GUI) used to add up to 256 custom instructions to the Nios II processor.
The custom instruction logic connects directly to the Nios II arithmetic logic unit (ALU) as shown in Figure 1–1.

Internally,the SL811HS contains a 256-byte RAM data buffer which is used for control registers and data buffer.The available package types offered are a 28-pin PLCC (SL811HS) and a 48-pin TQFP package (SL811HST-AC). Both packages operate at 3.3 VDC. The I/O interface logic is 5V-tolerant.

pdnMesh is an automatic mesh generator and solver for Finite Element problems. It will also do post-processing to generate contour plots and Postscript printouts. GUI support using GTK or MFC (Win32) is available. The problem definition can be done in any form and given to pdnMesh as an input data file. Drawing Exchange Format (DXF) files can be directly imported to pdnmesh. The quality and the coarseness of the mesh can be controlled by giving input parameters.

LPC2148 USB Audio Device Example
This USB example project implements an USB Audio Device that connects via the USB interface to the PC. It may be used on the following devices:
LPC2141
LPC2142
LPC2144
LPC2146
LPC2148
An USB Audio Device (HID) does not require any special USB driver, since the USB Audio support is already built into Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Therefore USB Audio devices can be directly connected to the computer. This example project is designed to work with Keil MCB2140 Evaluation Board.

PrintNow is a 32-bit application that runs only under Windows 95
or Windows NT 4.0. It allows your PrtScr and Alt+PrtScr keys to
print a screen capture directly to your printer instead of just
copying the image to the Windows clipboard. PrintNow can also

Although there has been a lot of AVL tree libraries available now, nearly all of them are meant to work in the random access memory(RAM). Some of them do provide some mechanism for dumping the whole tree into a file and loading it back to the memory in order to make data in that tree persistent. It serves well when there s just small amount of data. When the tree is somewhat bigger, the dumping/loading process could take a lengthy time and makes your mission-critical program less efficient. How about an AVL tree that can directly use the disk for data storage ? If there s something like that, we won t need to read through the whole tree in order to pick up just a little bit imformation(a node), but read only the sectors that are neccssary for locating a certain node and the sectors in which that node lies. This is my initial motivation for writing a storage-media independent AVL Tree. However, as you step forth, you would find that it not only works fine with disks but also fine with memorys, too.

3. cmx_imr_np.csv (x=1, 2, 3, and 4) represent the files containing the number of paths in
each of the 100 multipath realizations.
4. cmx_imr.mat (x=1, 2, 3, and 4) are the .mat files that can be loaded directly into
Matlab (TM).
5. *.m files are the Matlab (TM) files used to generate the various channel realizations.
